Despite their association with the first flourishes of spring, tulips, thankfully begin to make their welcome return in the winter months - just in time to add a much needed floral boost to proceedings. These best-loved stems have enjoyed something of a renaissance in recent years - with a surge in new varieties inspiring florists and gardeners alike.
One of the most captivating blooms in the tulip family that has floral fans in a spin is the Parrot. Their distinctive, feathery petals contort as they gently unfurl - whilst the unruly stems take on a life of their own within vase, creating fabulous silhouettes akin to a Dutch Master arrangement. Discover a kaleidoscope of colour combinations - tropical sunsets, candy stripes and dip-dye edges, the options are endless and each one more beautiful than the last!
There are a number of ways you can revel in your favourite seasonal flowers - send (or receive) a beautiful bouquet - including the stem of the moment, Parrot Tulips, layered ranunculus and hypnotic anemones.
Alternatively, surround yourself with winter's most beautiful blooms at our flower school. Handily based next door to Battersea Power Station, Moyses Stevens offer a variety of workshops - join us for an evening class after work - or kick the weekend off with a creative hobby.
