New Classes Arrive at Moyses Stevens Flower School

It goes without saying that we’re flower fans all year round, but there’s something rather magical about the late winter months giving way to those very first flourishes of spring. Trusty daffs and tulips start to make a welcome appearance, bulbs planted back in Autumn are well on their way and that unmistakable afternoon haze returns. It’s an undeniably special time as a florist and a season we love to celebrate across all areas of Moyses Stevens - from filling our beautiful bouquets with seasonal treats to creating spritely displays for our weekly contracts clients. We’re fizzing with excitement to announce that Moyses Stevens Flower School will also be embracing this special moment in the floral calendar with a mini programme of new classes.
Celebrating Spring
Step into our flower-filled classroom for this laid-back workshop where you’ll learn all the tricks of the trade on how to craft an effortless hand-tied bouquet. Our expert Moyses Stevens tutors will choose an array of spring’s goodies to ensure you’re creating a bountiful, seasonal design. As well as the technical skills, you’ll discover essential flower care tips to ensure your blooms stay healthier for longer.
Bridal Bouquet and Boutonniere
Another fabulous new class - this introduction to wedding florals is the perfect stepping stone to creating larger-scale event flowers - or if you’re hoping to help with a loved one’s big day. Lead by our experienced tutors, you’ll master a classic bridal bouquet and delicate boutonniere in just one lesson. Within the workshop discover perfect floral varieties and the all-important wiring technique (a must-have skill for wedding blooms!)
Flower Crown - Celebrating the Coronation
Join us as we celebrate the very best of late spring stems and the King’s coronation appropriately with a flower crown workshop. As we like to ensure with all our classes - enjoy a relaxed and informative lesson with our brilliant tutors who will impart their years of floristry knowledge to ensure you create a show-stopping, regal headpiece!
