We deliver dahlia bouquets nationwide across mainland UK, with next-day delivery seven days a week including Sundays, and same-day delivery throughout London on orders placed before 6pm. Enter the recipient’s postcode at checkout and we will show the soonest date we can reach their address.

Can I buy dahlias right now, or are they seasonal?

Dahlias are seasonal and the window is short - roughly July through October, at their strongest in late August and September. If the collection is showing bouquets, they are available to order today. When the season closes we take the collection down rather than substitute something else in, so what you see on the page is genuinely what we can send.

Can I get dahlias delivered the same day?

Yes, if the recipient is in London - order before 6pm and the bouquet is hand-tied and delivered the same day, seven days a week. For the rest of mainland UK, next-day is the fastest option: order before 6pm and it arrives the following day. The soonest available date updates automatically once you enter the delivery postcode.

Can I order dahlias for a future date?

Yes - choose any delivery date at checkout up to twelve weeks ahead. Worth doing with dahlias in particular, since the season is short and the best varieties move quickly. Booking the date now secures the bouquet for the morning you want it to land.

Will the dahlias arrive open or in bud?

Accepted Answer

Open. Dahlias do not continue to open once cut, unlike peonies, so we send them at or near full bloom - what arrives is what you see in the photograph rather than a promise of what might unfurl. They are at their best in the first few days, so keep them cool and out of direct sun. Every order carries our Stem freshness promise.

Can I choose the colour of my dahlia bouquet?

Yes, within what the season is producing. Dahlias carry one of the widest colour ranges of any cut flower - cream, blush, apricot, coral, scarlet, plum, burgundy and near-black, with true blue the only shade genuinely absent. Early season leans pale, autumn brings the deeper tones. If you have a specific palette in mind, note it at checkout and the studio will work to it.

Can I send dahlias as a gift?

Yes, and they send particularly well. Add your message at checkout and it is printed on Moyses Stevens stationery, included free with every order, with the price removed from anything that travels with the bouquet. Many of our dahlia deliveries go to offices and handle as surprises well - add the company name alongside the recipient on the address.

Can I add chocolates, champagne or a vase?

Yes. Chocolates and champagne are available as paired bundles, and a vase can be added at checkout. For a larger dahlia arrangement or event work, speak to the studio directly and we will build to brief.
